Notes From Our First Retreat: What Happens When Women Take a Moment to Breathe
I keep trying to find the right words for what happened at our first Still Ground Retreat, and honestly, I don't think I can capture all of it. Here are some of the moments that really stood out to me...

A group of women showed up tired. Not the kind of tired sleep fixes, the kind that builds up over years of achieving, proving, and holding it together for everyone else. And for a few days, they got to just... stop.

Mornings started slow with Qigong and Pilates, movement that asked nothing of them except presence. From there, we moved into conversation. Real conversation, about values, fulfillment, and the quiet ways burnout had crept into their lives without permission.

The energy cleansing ceremony ended up being one of the most moving parts of the whole retreat. There were tears. There was release. There was that specific kind of quiet that happens when a room full of women finally exhale together.
Meals were chef-prepared for every breakfast, lunch, and dinner, because nourishment matters just as much as everything else we did.
By the last day, something had shifted. Women who arrived depleted left renewed, and more than a few said they felt like themselves again for the first time in a long time.

This is exactly why Still Ground exists. And this was only the first one.
More retreats are coming. Stay tuned, I'll be sharing dates soon, and I'd love to have you join us next time.

With Gratitude and Love,
Libby
